Tutoring of Bethesda is seeking an exceptional ELA Writing Tutor to provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring in the Bethesda, Maryland area.*** This is for private tutoring in Montgomery County, MD. Applicants must live or work in the Greater Bethesda, MD area. This is not a virtual tutoring position! ***
What You'll Do:
- Provide individualized ELA Writing tutoring for grades 6-8
- Help students develop executive functioning and study skills
- Support student writing skills and essay development
- Build student confidence and academic independence
- Maintain regular communication with parents and our office about student progress

Ideal Candidate:
Required:- Bachelor's degree in an ELA-specific field
- 2+ years teaching or tutoring experience
- Caring and committed
- Experience with middle school curriculum and development
- Strong communication skills with students and parents
- Reliable transportation (for in-home sessions)
- Background check clearance
