Special Needs Tutor (Grades K-5)

Position: In-Person Special Needs Tutor - Elementary School Level

Location: Bethesda, MD, and surrounding Montgomery County areas

About the Role:

Join Club Z! Bethesda as an In-person Special Needs tutor (grades K-5), providing one-on-one in-home support to students with diverse learning needs, including students with Specific Learning Disabilities. You'll work with students who have IEPs, 504 plans, and various learning differences, including ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorders, and other special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized in-person tutoring using multi-sensory teaching methods
• Implement accommodations per IEP/504 plans (extra time, repetition, breaks, etc.)
• Maintain weekly progress reports and communicate regularly with parents and Club Z! management 
• Align instruction with classroom curriculum and individual learning goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, or related field
• Maryland teaching certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with elementary special needs students
• Experience with IEP/504 plan implementation
• Background check required
